Our Review:
It's hard to imagine that the pool room at Legion used to be an opium den, or whatever those freaked out hippies who ran Pour House used it for. The new folks did a grand job cleaning the place up and they seem to be keeping up the table and equipment nicely. It's pretty awesome, truth be told, and the view from the windows is conducive to deep ponderings, such as, "why do they call them 'slyders?' "

You are both right about Pourhouse. It was a mixed croud. The owner had dumped a ton of money on fixing the place up; the floors and the bar. Everything else is exactly the same. The building owner jacked up their rent so they closed. As far as billiards goes, The table and space are good but the sticks although they are new they are sticky and annoying. They need a talc block.
Please move back to the upper east side and run a website a little more in your comfort zone... maybe one focussing on the best flipcup bars and where to score michelob light 2 for 1 specials....

seriously, the pour house was one of the best bars in williamsburg and i was quite shocked and saddened when it left. i was unaware this new "legion" bar even existed, but it sounds like a step down.
Did you ever go to the Pour House? That bar was hardly run by hippies. Try rockabilly kids and locals. The regulars there were not only supremely friendly people but also kick ass pool players.
You people sure cop an attitude about places you clearly no little about. Legion is a soulless, bland little bar that belongs in the West Village. Maybe you do too.
Even though I like the idea of your site. You guys seem like total dicks.
